with Sherrilyn Kenyon
What's your best tweet?
Hubby shouting from the kitchen: "Help. I forgot where I put my Ginko tablets!" & of course THANK YOU to my followers.
What are six things you could never do without?
My family/friends. Pets. Computer. Readers/fans. Random acts of kindness. Imaginary people. Is that 8? I never could color inside the lines
How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
I have something that isn't a professional life? Really? Why didn't someone tell me this? Seriously, I use it to talk to my wonderful fans
What's your favorite Twitter app?
Twitpic so that my followers can see my epic socks and PJ's that I wear while tweeting.
Twitter or Facebook?
I love Facebook, but Twitter is easier to respond to. And my antiquated phone will actually work with Twitter :)
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
Big 80's hair and I swear I never wore that. Unless you count mohawks. No, mohawks definitely not big hair, even if it was over 3 feet tall.
What feature should Twitter add?
A nice soothing whale sound to go with the overcapacity page.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
Confucius. I would like to see what he has to say in 140 characters or less. Confucius says it's hard to be brilliant with brevity.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
Troglodyte and australopithecine. I just love the way they look and sound. Rolls off the tongue like butter.
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
Brad Pitt. But then my hubby might get jealous & it'd be bad. Or worse Brad might go blind from my randomness. Can't have that.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
I haven't yet. Maybe I should. Maybe not. Dang, now I'm paranoid... Can you unfollow yourself? I'll have to look that up and get back to you.
Why should we vote for you?
Because my characters are all imaginary and they can't vote. And Simi will BBQ you if you don't :)
Terms you wish would start trending on Twitter right now?
#worldpeace #nuke'emall. I just love dichotomy. Oh and my fave #loseweightwhiletwittering
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
I've heard from several of my characters who seem to be having lives outside of my head. Someone get a rope. They're scary when they're loose
Hashtag you created that you wish everyone used?
I've been evil and haven't done a hashtag yet. But I hear they taste really good with eggs and bacon.
How do you make your tweets unique?
I add BBQ sauce and serve them up quick with a thick helping of smiles and hugs.
What inspires you to tweet?
The voices in my head. They tell me to do other things too, but tweeting won't get me arrested. I hope.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
No, but I am willing to learn, Master. Teach me the ways of overtweeting.
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Abandon your free time all ye who post here...
How long can you go without a tweet?
A light year... or 5.88 trillion miles. Oh wait, that would definitely be too long. I'd never make it. Only while held hostage by characters.
What question are we not asking here that we should?
So Sherri, why are you voting for your competition?
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
@barbaravey. She knows how to make people feel good and how to treat everyone like they're important. Go Barbara!!
Why'd you start tweeting?
@barbaravey made me do it (she's a major Twitter pusher). And I stayed because I love my readers and fans and I like interacting with them.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Now when I talk to imaginary people, they talk back. Oh wait. The people on the screen *aren't* imaginary. Even better!
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Tweet while naked. Wait a minute, present company must be excluded. I'd hate to traumatize my children anymore than I already have.
How will the world change in 2010?
Calling all psychic powers... Closing eyes... I predict... Wait, last time I did this I got a headache and someone stole my wallet.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Giving out personal information and being mean for no reason. The world's cruel enough. In 140 characters, can't we just be nice?
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Probably as scary to me as it was 10 years ago. I just hope it offers me a few airsick bags for the journey.
