with Unofficial M.E.
How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
We don't. Although we'd be more than happy to do exactly what we do with this account, but professionally and officially. (Call us.)
Twitter or Facebook?
Each has its own uses. But each should be used in its own way. Merely mirroring copy from one to the other is inauthentic.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
Mutant Enemy, because as much as we've tried to fill in the gap, there's only so much an unofficial account can do. (M.E.: Hire us!)
Why should we vote for you?
Because in the absence of an official M.E. presence, and in the face of FOX's failure to support Dollhouse via social media, we did our best.
How do you make your tweets unique?
They are inherently unique by virtue of having "UnofficialME" prepended to each and every one of them.
What inspires you to tweet?
The need for a vibrant social media presence supporting Dollhouse, since FOX itself wasn't providing one and M.E. didn't have its own.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
As near as we can recall, once. In which case we're not particularly concerned with the issue.
How long can you go without a tweet?
Sorry, can you ask that again? We got distracted halfway through by needing to tweet.
Why'd you start tweeting?
We began through @watchdollhouse to support Dollhouse on Twitter, since FOX wasn't, then grew to include other M.E. work, via @UnofficialME.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Brands should treat it less as "marketing" in the old and broken sense, and more as customer service, problem solving, and discussion.
How will the world change in 2010?
For one thing, we'll "retire" our involvement in fandom efforts and campaigns. (You mean "world" isn't about *us*?)
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Incorrect attribution on retweets. Using it like its a broadcast medium. Acting like anyone (especially a celebrity) owes you anything.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Well, if you believe "Epitaph One", the unaired season one finale of Dollhouse, pretty bleak.
